FAQ:
1. What housing is that?
They are authentic milspec Noctis Technologies housings (used to be called the Carson Industries). We use them for all monocular build.
2. Why do the colors appear different in the picture?
The difference in color is due to the camera’s auto white balance setting. To the human eye, the colors look the same.
3. Are the tubes autogated?
Yes, all our tubes feature autogating.
4. Do the tubes have manual gain control?
No, these MX-10160 tubes only support autogain.
5. What grade of NVT are these tubes?
These tubes could originate from NVT-4, NVT-5, or NVT-6 production lines. However, they are sold based on their individual specifications.
6. How durable are the tubes?
They are quite robust. The autogating feature effectively protects the tubes by keeping the voltage of the microchannel plate (MCP) very low while still maintaining tube operation, which enhances their durability under varying light conditions.
7. Is there a warranty on these tubes?
Yes, we offer a 3-year warranty on the system, covering any defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.
