Night Vision Binoculars
Powered by the most Advanced white phosphor image Intensifier Tubes
The performance of any monocular depends heavily on its image intensifier tube —
the complex Electron Photocathode Tube responsible for collecting single photons across the EM spectrum, converting them each into thousands of electrons, and converting those electrons back into visible-spectrum light by passing them through an electrified Phosphor Screen.
L3Harris “unfilmed” GEN3 Tubes:
L3Harris tubes offer superior light collection capabilities across the 550-970nm spectrum, higher gain, and the highest signal-to-noise ratios available. The premium upgrade for mission profiles where ambient light is at near-zero and outboard IR illumination is unavailable or severely restricted.
NVT white phosphor Gen2+ Tubes:
Our Favorite, and our most recommended tube for nearly all applications. GEN2+ tubes offer excellent light collection across a very wide spectrum; 370-1100nm, giving a deeper contrast and exceptional image where ambient light is low-to-mixed. Superior autogating, high signal-to-noise ratios and median-to-high gain.
Elbit “Thin-Film” GEN3 Tubes:
Our favorite upgrade option! For mission profiles where ambient light will be extremely low, and outboard IR illumination is limited or restricted, these tubes offer even higher light-collection, gain, and signal-to-noise ratios than most GEN2+ tubes. Excellent autogating.
